Taiwanese Partners Introduce Innovative Solar Water Pump at AAADFTC

Kalibo, Aklan – The Aklan Agri-Aqua Demonstration Farm and Training Center (AAADFTC) welcomes another breakthrough in sustainable farming with the introduction of an innovative solar water pump, thanks to the generosity of Taiwanese partners led by Mr. Jeffrey Yu.

This cutting-edge system consists of 36 lightweight solar panels, each generating 30 watts of power, providing an eco-friendly and efficient water supply solution for the farm. By harnessing solar energy, the AAADFTC takes another step toward sustainability, reducing reliance on traditional power sources while ensuring a steady water supply for aquaculture and agricultural operations.

“We are truly grateful for this technology and the partnership that made it possible,” said AAADFTC representatives. “This solar-powered pump will greatly enhance our farm’s efficiency and sustainability.”

The initiative aligns with the Pagkaing Sapat Para sa Lahat, Aklan Aangat program, reinforcing the province’s commitment to innovative and sustainable agricultural practices.
