Camaligan Students Engaged in Hands-On Learning at AAADFTC



Another productive day unfolded at the Aklan Agri-Aqua Demonstration Farm and Training Center (AAADFTC) as Camaligan National High School Work Immersion students continued their hands-on learning experience.





The day's activities focused on various agricultural practices, including:

Pruning of Bell Pepper and Sili Dynamite – Taught proper plant care techniques to promote better growth and yield.


Learning the Different Parts of a Cultivator and Their Uses – Provided insights on farm mechanization for efficient land preparation.


Seed Sowing of Lettuce – Introduced the initial steps in growing fresh, healthy greens.


Making Carbonized Rice Hull – Demonstrated the creation of eco-friendly soil conditioner to enhance plant growth.


Putting Plastic Mulch – Highlighted the importance of moisture retention and weed control in crop production.


Every day at AAADFTC brought students a step closer to becoming future agriculturists and farm practitioners.
